Pacific Renewable Fuels solutions allow our customers to convert a variety of resources to fuels and electricity. Our key focus areas include:
Biomass-to-Liquids (BTL): Biomass is defined as organic matter available on a renewable, sustainable basis, such as forest residues, agricultural wastes (such as rice harvest waste, corn stover, etc.), and a variety of waste and residues from different industries (paper mills, sawmills, pallets, certain types of industrial and household waste). PRF’s Synergy system converts biomass first into a clean syngas and then into liquid fuels.
Coal-to-Liquids (CTL): Coal is first converted into a syngas which, after a purification step, is catalytically converted to liquid fuels. The Synergy system provides a much cleaner way to turn coal into a viable energy product than conventional power production.
Gas-to-Liquids (GTL): For stranded natural gas applications where natural gas can be reformed into syngas, the Synergy process provides an ideal way to produce liquid fuels. |
