About Us

Pacific Renewable Fuels & Chemicals (PRFC) was founded with a vision to provide alternative solutions to the pressing global problems of energy and the environment by providing innovative technology solutions that enable production of renewable and cost competitive fuels and chemicals.

PRFC team members bring strong technology backgrounds from organization such as Air Products, Sud-Chemie, Sasol, Chevron, Ford Motor Company, BASF, Symyx, and other industry leading organizations.

PRFC, in collaboration with other industry leading organizations, was awarded a $25 million US Department of Energy grant in 2009 to further demonstrate and commercialize their technologies.

In addition, PRFC was awarded a DOE grant in 2009 to develop and demonstrate effective processes to convert waste carbon dioxide to diesel fuel.
